Hard Hats, Check!

Most of you probably don't know much about my work situation, but I'll briefly fill you in. My work location was originally in a children's themed mall--you know, kids stores, kids museum, kid-friendly dining etc. Well, it shut down two or three weeks before I moved to Nanjing, so it has always been an abandoned mall to me. About three months ago, the mall began renovating. It wasn't bad at first (minus the drilling sounds and elevators full of wheelbarrows carrying cement, tile, etc... I hate stairs!) Then, we had some water leaks which led to flooding in some rooms which led to the ceiling collapsing in areas. And lots of stagnant water. And mold growing. And speakers/lights falling from the ceiling. And warped wood floors. And that's just inside our location. Here's some pictures around the building:

 On the left is what you see when you're standing by the elevators. The giant pile of demolition is by the main entrance to the building (we're around the side).

A few days ago they were demolishing some of the sidewalks area (top left). Then, one day we got a little trapped in work. The workers decided to put up scaffolding on our entrance. Needless to say, they just knocked out a glass wall so we would have an exit (top right). There's a nice pile of glass by the walkway (perfect for small children, right?--bottom left). Finally, just a shot of the general disarray of the building (bottom right).
