One of the cool things about living in China is all their holidays that we don't have. Like Moon Festival. During Moon Festival, the people give each other yue bing (Moon Cakes). Traditionally it is a pastry with an intricate design on the top to indicate what's inside. Disney also gave us moon cakes, just a different kind.
We got a voucher to redeem for Haagen Dazs moon cakes. Pretty bag, right? Inside the box was two containers of Creme Brulee ice cream, two cookies and cream bars, and a vanilla moon cake covered in chocolate. Delicious. And expensive! This brand is probably the most expensive brand of ice cream in China. I'm guessing this little set is worth at least $25 USD.
