This actually isn't Disney's doing. The castle on the side of the building was already there. This mall used to be a children's mall--all of the stores were catered to kids (clothing, toys, etc). There was also apparently a really neat kid's place (kind of like Safety Village in McKinney or the Children's Museum in San Antonio) that had a miniature village with an airplane, grocery store, bank, etc. The entire mall (minus Disney, of course) shut down a week before I got here :( I have heard that it is supposed to reopen. When, I have no idea. But hopefully soon because it is quite lonely in this huge building.
